Banjo is a female, I think European rabbit, about five months old. She likes to run around, chew on her toys, explore my apartment, and stretch and dig and yawn and nibble…

I even did a couple videos of her scampering around…

thanks all! “banjo” is “bunny”+ “anjo,” the portuguese word for “angel.” a brazilian friend helped come up with that one.

Welcome here. : ) I just adore her colouring! She’s very pretty! She seems a busy girl too.

Re: European rabbits, all our domestic buns are this. As to Banjos specific breed… that’s just a guess unless you were told accurately when you got her.

I also love the name. Looking forward to more pictures if you’d care to spoil us. : )

Why am I so late to this?!?!

I can sense that your bunny is a chocolate otter !!!!!!!!!!!!

Banjo reminds me of my Chacha bun colors.. just she has black fur

i’m wondering if she IS a chocolate otter. they didn’t give me a breed when i got her but i’m guessing she’s a dwarf, she’s about 6 months old but as you can see she’s still pretty tiny.

Chocolate otter is just the fur patterning (otter in general indicates the cream colored tummy and facial accents). Otters can come in all sizes though, so it may be difficult to guess at her actual breed until she is full-sized. Brittany and I have petite little netherland dwarf black otters, while angie-la has a gorgeous bigger black otter bun . Your Banjo doesn’t look like a netherland dwarf though…nethies generally have much shorter ears. In any case, she’s a real beauty…I don’t think I’ve seen a chocolate otter before!

I have a false dwarf which doesn’t have the general dwarf qualities, but they tend to be 3-4 pounders.

The ear is a good indicator of rabbit size banjo is so cute! She may get big! I don’t see a hint of diva in her at all how odd!
Otters have irresistible markings.. if I had a chocolate I would name him/her ‘chako.’

Oh, cute pics! That butt one is too funny!

Funny, initially I thought Banjo was a grey colour but she very definately is chocolate. Very pretty! Her face reminds me a little of the mini rexes but not her fur. She’s fluffier then them. : )
