        Hi all,

just saying hello as i’m a new member here and looking forward to sharing rabbit stories.

I had a dwarf rabbit as a child and recently I adopted two rabbits, Calypso and Othello. They came from seperate places and i’m currently in the process of bonding them (see my thread in bonding section!).

calypso is about 6 months old and from an abusive ex family. as a result she is very timid but a really sweet and lovely bunny. she has been with us for 1 month and is still getting used to us. She is spayed. check her out – little black and white cutie, below.

Othello just arrived with us. He is 2 months old and will be neutered when he’s the right age (6 months in australia). He is a very adventurous little boy and loves running around everywhere. He isn’t scared of anything and likes to be patted, if I don’t pat him he will nibble at my jeans until i pay him some attention! He also likes chasing my boyfriend around the house hehe. check him out, black otter rex, above.

Hello from another Australian! Hope you find the forums here useful. There’s pretty much always somebody about to help answer any questions.
Thank you for giving a home to these 2 buns. When I read “calypso is about 6 months old and from an abusive ex family” it just made me sad. I don’t even need to know details… Well, it’s a new life for her now!

Othello looks so satiny! He’s really handsome.

i will not even go into the details about calypso’s last family because they sound like real jerks 🙁 you don’t wanna know!

i really wish i could adopt more bunnies… i keep looking at the site where i found calypso at all the other rabbits there, wishing i could take home more…
