Hello everyone! My name is Jocelyn and this is my bunny Giselle:

Giselle is a Harlequin mix. I adopted her from the Animal Care and Control Center in Manhattan yesterday. As soon as I stepped into the pen to meet her, it was love at first sight. Well for me anyway. She probably wouldn’t agree!  Giselle was found abandoned on a street corner at night a month ago, so no one knows much about her past. She is only a year old and has been spayed.

When I first brought her home, I was expecting her to be really nervous and quiet for the first couple of days. Boy was I wrong! She showed her personality pretty quickly. After the week I spent setting up everything for her, she moved everything around as soon as I put her down! Now if I even try to move a toy she pushes my hand away. I think I’ve figured out who the new boss around my house is going to be.  Giselle is very alert and is a little nervous when meeting new people, but once you pet her nose and behind her ears she melts! She loves to play and throw things around, and gives me and my parents frequent binky shows! It’s amazing what a change I’ve seen in her personality the one day she’s been here, and how much I’ve fallen in love with her. I’m very excited to see what’s in store the next couple of years with Giselle around. She’s definitely a character! Fits right in with my family lol
