  I’ve been stalking this site for awhile, it’s about time I made an acount. Anyway my names Marrisa. I’m almost 18(yay!) & I live in Texas. I’ll be going to college in the fall. I don’t actually have any buns yet…. but I plan to one day! I’ve always loved bunnies & that love intensified when my brother/SIL adopted a little (ha!) flemish mix- Daisy/ She has my heart wrapped around her paw.
  
  I would LOVE to adopt a bun now. But I cant. Between getting settled into my new place, college, working, FlipFlop (my cat), & a thousand other things I just don’t have the time. It wouldn’t be fair to the bunny. So until that day comes when I can have a bun, I’ll drool over Daisy & all the buns on this site. Monkey I must admit is my favorite.
  
  Anyway I’ll stop rambling now Nice to “meet” everybody! Lovely site btw. I love all the information tabs at the top.

  Welcome aboard! This is a good place to learn, and you don’t need a bunny in order to hang around or create threads at all – everybody is welcome

  Welcome to Binkybunny!!! It’s refreshing to read about a young person WAITING, rather than posting after the fact when suddenly they don’t know how to work a bunny into their transitional life. Please continue to read and post in the forum, you’ll learn a lot! Are your brother/sister-in-law experienced bunny people? They’re more than welcome to make an account too, if they’d like to share their experiences with their new bunny!
  
  College is a difficult time to acquire a new bunny. Finances are tight, time is limited, space is non-existent. It’s good you’re going to wait.

         MonkeyBun- I send snuggles back to Monkey. Poor little gal. I’m so glad her eyes are feeling better.
  
          Beka27- Oh I so agree. It really anoys me when kids/young adults run out & buy an animal without knowing anything about them/not having the time, money, & energy to take proper care of them. Ugh it makes me feel horrible for the animal. Anyway to answer your questions….   I told them about this site & I think there going to make an acount once there computer gets fixed. This is my SIL’s second rabbit. She had a mini rex named Lila. She passed away last year, at the age of 8. Lila was a spunky thing. VERY spunky. She was a really good rabbit though.
  
          This is my brother’s first bun/pet. My parents are not animal people. So he was never allowed to have any pet. Even a goldfish. It was a huge shock when they gave me FlipFlop for my 15th birthday. I pay for everything though (well they help out with vet bills from time to time). That’s probably the only reason they gave her to me. They don’t like her though. At all.
  
        Random question. What is a binky? Is that when buns jump in the air?

  Yes, you could call a binky a happy dance It’s what guinea pig people call a popcorn.
  
  Sorry to hear that your parents don’t like your cat. How anyone can not love cats is beyond me

  Yup… a binky is the happy bunny dance, where they toss themselves in the air. If you search “binky” on youtube, you’ll get all kinds of adorable videos!

  hey hey welcome welcome!!! this is just an amazing site and please dont be shy! everyone on this site is just awsome and everyone tries to help if you are in need of it! i like cats but i like dogs more. i have a cat and a dog but my cat isnt your typical cat. he is VERY loving and very much my cat. he spends all his time with me and when i leave for work, he drives my brother insane when he runs around the house calling and looking for me ( he is a seal point siamese, they are very well known for their loud vocals and rightly so!!!)
  
  happy to hear you are waiting to welcome the new bun into your life when you know you can keep him! that is awsome and very mature of you…eventhough i know mature people who dont do that!
