Hi! My name is Dominique and I am the proud new mom of two beautiful Lionhead girls. They are seven weeks old and simply the sweetest things in the world! Their names are Willow and Lola. They are adopted; I was actually not expecting it whatsoever, but they are such joys and I simply love them! Willow is slightly smaller, but a bit more roudy and bold than Lola, who is a bit calmer (less in your face I guess you could say ) Willow is white with brown/grey ears and spots over her eyes and a patch on her nose. She also has faint spots going down her back then into a stripe. Lola is a brown/grey cole with a light grey belly and a white tuft of hair on her tail. They are both sisters. I am planning on getting them spayed when they are old enough

Just a little about myself: I ride dressage. I currently ride and train my Georgian Grande mare, Virginia. I also have a toy poodle named Coquette and a Congo African Grey named Echo. When it comes to my animals, no expenses are spared to give them everything they need (or at least as much as I can afford!). My CAG has a very large cage, tons of toys, a bed time/sleep cage, hours of out of the cage time, and a meticulous diet. Coquette the same; toys, long walks daily, etc…Basically, what I’m trying to say is that though I don’t know a ton, I want to learn I have been reading as much as I can, but it is hard when you have specific questions! Anywho, I really look forward to learning as much as I can about my new babies. I will try to post pictures soon!

Thank you! I had forgotten how nerve-wracking those first few nights can be. I was so worried about everything! The people at my pet store were super helpful but still, I couldn’t help but worry about doing everything right! We are still in the process of bunny proofing. So far I’ve rearranged all the cords that are connected to anything and I’ve setting up a play pen area. As far as a hutch, I found a general idea of one I like in the Great Habitats, so they will be out of their temporary this weekend. Here’s a couple of pictures, I appologize for their quality  I’ve still not a very good photographer, even after having the birds for so long… The one on the left is Willow and the one on the right is Violet/Lola (can’t decide hehe)

Thank you everyone! They are so much fun! Their personalities are so different too. I will definitely try to get more pictures! Willow is a hoot; she always gets right in your face and nuzzles you on your nose. When she lays down, she doesn’t do this slow, easy movement, she just plops down and stretches out, expecting you to rub her tummy  Lola/Violet (still unsure but leaning towards Violet) is much more reserved. She’ll come up to you and say hi, but is not a fan of being picked up, only cuddled. She is also much more concerned acting about the world around her. It’s so fascinating how opposite they are!
