Just a bit about me – I’m from the U.S. and completely bun crazy, but who wouldn’t be?
Now about my wonderful rabbit – Five days ago I got my first bunny Frizzle from a local pet store (I know, this is bad! I’m sorry…). She’s 8 weeks old and as you might’ve guessed, female. Well, we’re calling her female but not exactly sure, maybe I’ll be able to figure out soon. She’s a very dark grey color with one small patch of white on a foot and on her tail. Pretty sure she’s a mini-lop but I should have pictures of her soon for you guys to confirm or not.
The first day home she would just sit in the corner of her cage and huddle as close to the bars as she could get when we walked by. I was worried that we’d have a shy bunny always, and she’d be terrified of us forever.
I have a problem with jumping to conclusions aparently, because her second day home, after me vigorously bunny-proofing my room, I opened her cage door. Boy, did she change! She hopped right on out and the first thing she did was Binky, I was so excited.
Now she’s usually out of her cage in my room except for dinnertime and bedtime, and running around like a maniac. I’m currently trying to get her litter trained a tiny bit, I’ve read this is very hard with baby rabbits but maybe Frizzle can prove everyone wrong, so she can run out in the living room with the rest of the family.
Can’t wait to meet you all!!
