Hello everyone! My name’s Whit and I’m an 18 year old college freshman from Texas.

This past Tuesday I brought home Lola the “Sunny Bunny” for the first time. She is an adorable little Holland lop. The breeder I got her from is my boyfriend’s mother, so I’ve had the chance to be around her from the day she was born. It’s REALLY helped in letting her get used to her new home quickly. We think she’s about 4 months old ( my “mom in law” said she’ll find the exact date and even print off her pedigree for me when she gets the chance)  I was originally getting two,  but plans changed. And so I’m considering possibly in the future finding another bunny for her to bond with since I fear for her getting lonely when I can’t be around to spoil her.  > w <

I want her to be completely free range bunny, but it might take some work due to her current possible teenage stage (not proven yet) making litter training a true challenge and two of our five other pets being a concern/possible threat to a roaming bunny. Right now she lives in my room and is let out the majority of the time when I’m in there.  I’ve fallen absolutely in love with her! And I want to do everything right, which is why I’m here.  I’ve had past experience as a rabbit owner when I was younger but that was a unique case, so I’m practically a newbie to keeping a house bunny.  I’ve been lurking for a day or so and already this site has really been a great asset! I’d also like to be able to communicate with more experienced bunny keepers and I can’t wait to get to know all of you.
