Just wanted to introduce ourselves!  Lemony is a velveteen lop – we have had him about a month now, and he is 14 weeks or so old now.  We are desperately in love with this bun – we are new to the whole bunny thing, but in a very short period of time have become bunophiles for life.  He has literally changed our lives, and our hearts melt every time we look at those bring brown eyes and loppy ears.  We are starving musicians / music performance students in the Chicago area, and are building a neuter fund so that the money we will be ready by the time he is old enough to have the surgery.  He is an absolute delight – amazingly sweet,  with just a little bit of bunny-tude  and sass.  We are in love!

Lemony was bought at a pet store in the area – we really didn’t know much at this point in the way of rescue buns, and it was truly love of at first sight.  And we are glad that we got him out of that scary place – two of his brothers are still there, and they look so miserable – they are not getting the right kind of food, or exercise. And they all have upper respiratory infections – our bun came with one too.  One day when he gets older we hope to find him a special rescue bunny to bond with, so he will have company during the times that his mommy and daddy are at school and practicing their instruments.
