Hi all! I’m new here and think I am doing this right?! I’m a total bunny newbie and sometimes think I’m way out of my league. My name is Serena. I’m a mom of 1 human girl and 2 bunny boys. My 1st bunny is Kittei and he was given to my daughter for Christmas 2013. He is an albino lion head. He is under a year old and neutered. He acts like a princess. He loves cuddles and frequently sits on our laps for loves. He is also stubborn and nips when he isn’t getting his way.
My 2nd boy is DOG pronounced Dee-Oh-Gee. We call him Deo for short. We adopted him from the ASPCA in January of 2014. He is neutered and about 2 years old. He is a big brown short haired bunny with black “birthmarks” or freckles. He is laid back, loves food, hates Kittei (which is funny because we got him to be Kittei’s best buddy) and thumps when being ignored. He only nips/bites my husband. He can escape his cage at night and loves to pop up on my bed in the middle of the night just to scare the crap out of me before flopping at my feet. (Is that normal?)
Although I have only owned bunnies for a few short months, I am up for the challenge. I also have a painted box turtle and a tokay gecko. I’ll do my best not to be a pain in the butt, but I really have a limited clue on how to keep my boys healthy and happy. I will gladly take unsolicited advice from professionals, or semi-professionals or anyone who has a better idea than myself! Take care and nice to meet you all!
