I started out with two rabbits, Marhsmallow and Whisper. And before I had the male neutered, the female was pregnant. Well now I have 7 rabbits, all spayed and neutered. I have had rabbits before, but never in a house which I owned, as opposed to a rental. So I am extra careful about how much free time they get, so they don’t start destroying my house.

I was wondering if anyone had some suggestions on bonding to each individual rabbit. I have 7 and they are all very much bonded to one another, but I want to enhance their people to rabbit relationships. Any suggestions?

Hi marshmallow! Welcome to BinkyBunny! I’d suggest just hanging out with them on the floor and letting them come over to you. Feeding them a small amount of treats by hand may also help! If you want more of a response it might be helpful to post in the behavior section of the forum as it seems people don’t look in the welcome section as often Good luck with all those bunnies!! Be sure to get them spayed or neutered or at the very least separated as bunnies can breed at a young age and won’t care if their ‘mate’ is their sibling.

I have a bonded group of six – and I’ve found the best way to create a bond with my group is by hanging out with each bun one-on-one and giving them some “just you” time as well as group time. My rabbits are definitely not nearly as affectionate when they’re in with the group as they are when they are just hanging out with me.

                Hey Tanlover,

How do you structure one on one time? Do you let the bunny out for free time and hang out with him there? Or do you seclude them in an area and hang out with them there?
