Do your bunnies treat all visitors in the same way? I have two female friends who come over regularly, but he’s only nice to one of them (and neither have pets at home, so don’t smell of dog/cat) and both make equal efforts to be friendly.

my lulla picks and chooses her favorite of my friends. She likes my friend that comes over a lot, but hates all my boyfriends friends and starts acting out when they come over. She did like one of his friends though.

Baby bun just stays in her room when i have company.  in fact she mainly stays there all the time unless i carry her to the living room to hang out with me & the dog. i do this regularily but haven’t tried when company comes over.  i don’t think it would matter who was here tho… she’s verrry inpdependant & would just stick to her own program of shredding things or allowing head pets.

i think animals are interesting how they can sometimes single out people for likes / dislikes.  my friend’s old family dog always loved everyone… except one of her brothers friends.  every single time this guy came over the dog (a wee toy poodle) would jump & try to latch onto his ‘goodies’.  lol

Stormy is a total rude jerk to all guests (only exception is my Mom because he knows her well). When they want to see him he hides in his cardboard house and if they put their hands near him he growls and “attacks” with his forepaws. I always laugh and say “he is a Mini-“Tyrannosaurus” Rex.

Bindi Loo is just in love with everyone and wants attention no matter who it’s coming from. He’s a cuddler, Stormy is a scrapper.

Deanna is really sweet to everyone who visits, even kids.  When my girls have friends over we always have the kids hold Deanna because she is so small and does not squirm.  DJ likes to sniff and lick people who come over, and Curly Sue is always afraid of them.  I always find it funny how they react so differently to the same situation.

I tend to think that animals are excellent judges of character.

My bunnies definitely react differently to different people. All three will always take treats though 😉

Viktor is friendly to pretty much anyone. Pandora is terrified of most everyone, but will let a few of our friends pet her. Hareiette is standoffish until she gets to know someone new.

Shadow is taken aback when he rounds the corner and finds a stranger sitting in the living room. He lurks under the sofa until he decides to allow a nose rub. After that all is cool, you want to rub his nose, fine by him. You want to ignore him, no problem, he will just eat your shoe laces.

Mine adore the boyfriend’s niece and love it when she comes over as she crawls under the bed and stuffs them full of treats (as soon as she’s through the front door she yells “Bwyyaaaaannnnnnn”, and goes off looking for the buns. They don’t feel the same about my friend’s children, in fact they refuse to show their faces, tho i really don’t blame them as they really are horrible children!

Meadow is a Princess… all of the visitors bow to her authority.

lol… she kinda ignores visitors… my best friend is over 2-4 times a week, so she’s used to her and will climb on her for head rubs.  but she [my best friend] had no pets growing up aside form the occasional fish or hamster, so she doesn’t really know how to react to a rabbit that acts like a dog [a "diva dog" at that… lol]  she is getting better and learning that a request for head rubs is really more of a demand for rubs.

we sometimes have an issue when people not familiar with rabbits come over and the first question is always "awww!  can i HOLD your CUTE LITTLE BUNNY RABBIT?!!?"  and all i can say is… "uh.  you can try but probably not."  they never get that.

The mini-tyrannosaurus is hilarious! That is soo funny!~

My bunnies are a bit shy, especially kahlua…Although Kokanee will normally come out and see who is around and what they are eating after about twenty minutes. She usually runs around and pushes on peoples feet and claws pants but then runs when they try to pet her! I encourage my guests to sit on the floor, because then both of them come up for pets and to see why someone is sitting on ‘their floor’!
