› FORUM › THE LOUNGE › Your Birthday Month
It’s been noted in Chat thread and a few others that there seems to be a lot of members whose birthdays are in August. By chance, I came across an article today that indicated that July, August and September are the most popular months for birthdays.
Anyway, now I’m curious about the most popular birthday month of our Binky Bunny members. So please participate in the poll and we’ll see if the popularity of those 3 months rings true.
It’s all anonymous, you just need to be logged on to be able to do the poll.
TIA !
p.s. Check out this infograph to see how popular your actual birthday is. (May not load properly on mobile devices)
Chris Hemsworth and I are ranked 56/366. ![]()
Just beat you Q8, I’m 55/366 ![]()
That’s ok. Chris is a great consolation. ![]()
244/366 pfftt… Uncommon birthday I guess!
242/366
1st May mustn’t be popular – I love having that birthday due to the bank holiday that’s always around that time ![]()
Am I the only October birthday? ![]()
MoxieMeadows You’re not the only one.. I’m October too ![]()

Cool! Literally me and a ton of people I know are October birthdays. My sister’s birthday is the 9th, and a lot of my friends have October birthdays as well! ![]()
Good old August, never fails ![]()
#276 ! But it’s the best date and the BEST starsign !
Aug/Sept, it’s soooo obvious…. it’s because 9 months earlier is when the days get shorter, the nights get longer and it starts getting colder !!!
Muffin – god that’s depressing…. ![]()
12/366…
OMG Vienna! LOL! ![]()
I’m October too, Mox! 3rd!
36/366 not too shabby

Mine’s 34/366. BunBun, yours is popular!
My aunt is on 2nd most popular birthday. Ex boyfriend on 4th most popular. Born a day earlier and he would have been on the most popular birthday.
Az. Pfff everyone knows that aussies are randy all year round….. you don’t need to wait for winter months !!! LOL ![]()
^
Our winters are also pretty mild compared to Winter in many regions of the world.
I’ve just reread the site, it’s birth dates in the USA – It would be interesting to see if the ROW was the same… or not.
Also… I’ve just worked it out… noting to do with heat or winter…. there’s a simple explanation! CHRISTMAS !! (and alcohol !) or celebrations…
“Oooohh Darling, thank goodness that’s Christmas over and done with… so what ARE we going to do now….?”
Also in some parts of Africa (can’t remember the country) they had observed deaths in teenage children at certains times of year, no explanations… and after a lot of research (and an hour’s tele) it was because at the exact time of conception and the following week, the mother was not taking in enough fresh greens (dry season) and not passing on the right stuff (conception, not just pregnancy), but the mothers who conceived in the wet season (plenty of greens and food) the children were much healthier, stronger and lived longer.
Amazing. so when this was researched and proven they advised the population to keep their legs crossed in the dry season and multiply in the wet season to prevent having poorly children !! LOL And it works !! So their birthdate chart would not be the same…… ![]()
Me and my bunny have the same birthday ![]()
That’s really cool!
Mine’s 312/366, what do the higher numbers mean?

Mine’s 312/366, what do the higher numbers mean?
It’s a ranking system. So Sept 16 is ranked 1/366, the day where most people had a birthday in the study. I guess you could say the higher numbers are more unique birthdays, not shared by many.
August still looks like the most popular month here on Binky Bunny.
I guess not many people have birthdays on November 14th
I’ll be 21 in April, I’m getting Old. :/
21 old?????
You’re getting legal in all states for all things. Time to celebrate!
Btw, you can figure out generally when someone was conceived by jumping forward 3 months, and of course it’s the year before. Uses less fingers to count on than 9.
So, as a November baby, I was either a valentine or a birthday celebration by my parents. And all you august kids were definitely a snuggle under the blankies with the first cold snap. Or stuffing Thanksgiving turkeys.
LOL – own little joke but had to share that I was laughing…..
Pam – I had NEVER thought of the plus 3 months and take away a year !! So simple…
Like the multiplication times table of the number 9 and using fingers… you do all know that one don’t you….? Helps kids NO end !!
Here we go…
Hold both hands up, palms facing you, with fingers open ‘stadngin up’. Bend over thumb on left hand. Number ONE finger bent, how many fingers left ‘standing up’? 9.1×9 =9
Now bend only the forefinger of left hand (finger number 2) and what is left? 1 finger on left and 8 on the right = 2×9 = 18
Now bend only the middle finger of left hand (fingers number 3) and what is left? 2 fingers on left and 7 on right. 3×9 = 27 !!
And so on…. simples !!!
I only learnt this when I was about 30 – I think it’s brill. Unfortunately is only works for the 9 times table.
.. or maybe…. little spermies swim faster and stronger when its colder….? or little eggies let them in easier…?
It MUST be something life that, surely? Bearing in mind that the entire population of couples doesn’t wait for once a year to ‘celebrate’ something… ![]()
I am May, but my partner is August
YAY !! A May babe !!! (I always though birthdays in May were popular…. (I have 5 friends with b’days all early may)
Let’s see: My Dad Me My sister are April
My sister’s youngest daughter, my niece Is July
My brother’s is in August
My cousin 3 aunts an Uncle are in September.
My Mom’s two nieces, 5 cousin’s my twin niece and nephews are all in October.
My birthday is in February.
Funny Fact:. My daughter Everly was born in September. So were my two nieces (one on the same day as Evi). When I was at the hospital before she was born, one of the nurses mentioned that September is the busiest month for babies. I said “oh, that’s weird. I wonder why”. She said “Christmas/New Years Parties” ![]()
Me and my bunny have the same birthday ![]()
VB, you must be polydactyl !
Jersey – errrrr why? I’m using 10 fingers (well, 8 and 2 thumbs
)… like most people… Can you not do it
![]()
Of course – I then went ‘surfing’ for polydactyl (thanks Jersey!
) – though many weird and wonderful images (go check them out if you are curious – one child with 8 toes on each foot, handy when playing Twister !!) I thought I’d share this one with you, which is cute rather than ‘groooos’… ![]()

Haha! Those toes! That is kinda cool.

Because you said “and what is left? 1 finger on left and 8 on the right ” You have 8 fingers on your right hand? ![]()

I had to look up polydactyl also. I knew the term “supernumery” but not actual term for extra digits. It keeps making me think of pterodactyl.
