Hello! I don’t want to bug you, but I was wondering if you had posted close up pictures of Hammer’s hutch setup anywhere on site? I would love to show them to the hubby so he could maybe make something like it.

Sorry here they are, i might have to make the hole to the second floor a bit bigger. Since hammer is my first bun i wasnt fully aware of size. hope these help and just ask if something doesnt make since lol

Aw, thanks Liz! ^_^ I hope I didn’t put you out. Thanks for going to the trouble of posting these. It sure is a nice looking dwelling. And yeah, I don’t see any mess?

Is the one with the solid door when the litter box is? If so, I know how my hubby will modify something like that…he’ll carve a little crescent moon in the door like an outhouse! lolz….
As long as he doesn’t put it together with duct tape, we’re good!

lol i want a moon now! im gonna try to talk my uncle into redoin it, that would be so cute! and yes that is his powder room, which has a sink (water crock) and a complimentary treats bowl (hay). I did clean it up first, he has suddenly started pooping in the ‘powder room’ but *missing* the box! GRR….

No problem, didnt put me out lol. and hammer thanks you. when i toke the pics he managed to get past me and got out again lol. i just dont have the heart to put him back in his cage yet lol. so tonight he gets double playtimes : )

teehee…I know, Fiver feels the same way. He loves his out time. I had to cut it short last night so tonight it should be a little longer to make up.

Oh, and I think the water/vinegar mixture to wash down areas where the bun ‘misses’ the litterbox should negate the urine/stool smell and *hopefully* deter future mishaps. If that doesn’t work, try that Nature’s Miracle spray, it isn’t as stinky.

I think Mimzy still misses on occasion to this day…or he’s just dragging them out when he steps out, not sure.

yea i was going to try vinegar and water but i keep forgetting to buy a spray bottle! ill be sure to keep it away from the side of my bed lol hahaha. sorry i just couldnt help myself : )

Yeah, I thought of putting it in a spray bottle, but I have to get a second one, the one I have now is just for warning the cats away from the bunny hutches and I don’t want vinegar flying around my room…hence why I didn’t just hawk it out…lolz.
