YAY! i found my planner book!

i use the same planner book every year.  normally, it’s carried at wal-mart or borders, but for some reason, netiher one had it this year.  i was going to order it online, but i didn’t feel like paying 8 dollars in shipping for the thing if i could find it somewhere local…

so i called a bunch of bookstores this morning looking for the planner and no one had it.  then i remembered that my local mall has a calendar store set up every xmas season… i called the mall, got connected to the calendar store… and they have ONE LEFT!  YAY!  

i would be lost without this book.  it is spiral bound, it has plenty of space for writing down lists and appts/ school info for the whole family, but it’s still compact enough to be carried in a purse.  there is a whole back section for a full phone book, pages for notes or important information, and it has these awesome little stickers for appts, no school days, vacation, birthdays, etc… i even bought a special nylon zip cover with pockets in it made specifically for this planner!  i can put papers or coupons in it, zip it up, and nothing falls out!

here’s the link to the site if you wanna check it out, but again, 8 bucks for shipping kinda sucks.  if you can find it somewhere local, i totally recommend it.  also, Amazon has it with less shipping…  i’ve used it for the past 5 years (since i had my son) and it’s perfect for families.  some of the other planners are aimed more towards business people, this one is made for moms!

Nice Planner!
After using something for 5 years and then not being able to find it! Oh, that would drive me crazy.

I would rather drive someplace than to have to pay shipping. I also like to look over, hold, feel things before buying them.
J. makes fun of me for this. “But, how much does your time cost?”, He will ask. Stupid logic!

i always end up buying planners and never using them…..
so yeah i def. wouldn’t spend that much on shipping, cuz it would be lost before the end of january!

also, i’m all about instant gratification! i want my planner and i want it TODAY! 7-10 days for shipping…? yuck!

I like it!! I used planners in school and not that religiously; I HAD to buy a planner though, especially doing all the volunteer coordinating…volunteers were showing up and I’m like “who are you?” LOL Soooo now I’m quite organized I love it!! Carry it everywhere with me!

Thats a bit too organized for me.  I have a calendar with big squares around the dates   I just use that. And shopping lists.

However I have to remember to turn the page when the 1st of the next month comes around.  Yes I missed a Dr. appmnt doing that.  Hubby even asked me didnt’ I have an appmnt that day. I looked at the last week of october instead of the 1st week of november  oh duh.
