  Thought I’d share the good news– I just came home for Easter weekend, and my mom told me that apparently the two Petcos near me have been refusing to sell rabbits before Easter!!! I’m so happy, because I’ve always felt that those two Petcos actually took really good care of their rabbits (they have hay, they’re in Carefrsh, their cages are always clean, the employees all have favorites, etc.) and they do reccommend adoption, so this really just bolstered my faith in them. Yay for less Easter bunnies!

  I was worried my Petco was going to do this too, and there are no bunnies there, and we’ve been going into town quite a bit this last few weeks. They have rats, chinchillas, ferrets, mice…but no buns. That did my heart good.

  This has always been Petco’s policy – now if we could just get them to stop selling rabbits and other animals for good!
