xpen flooring

I was thinking about putting some garage tiles down for the floor in BB’s xpen. In the past i have tried carpet tiles, but they slid around too much and he chewed on them. I’ve also tried putting the plastic protectors over the carpet tiles and a sheet over that, but it’s a little difficult to keep clean and the little bugger is constantly trying to pull it up because he knows the carpet is under there. I also tried the vinyl flooring, but he wasn’t really a fan because it was so slick under his little paws. I was also thinking of trying coroplast, but i feel like that would earn a similar reaction. (he’ll give me “the look”)

Maybe since the garage tiles have a little more texture and are sturdy plastic, it would be a better option because he wouldn’t slide around and it would be easy to clean. i can also get them at an employee discount at my job, so that doesn’t hurt 

But at the same time, i’m wondering if the texture would hurt his paws, or if he’d be able to get his teeth on the raised parts and start to chew them. Any thoughts or ideas? these are pretty close to what they look like.

I would buy a piece of cheap linoleum to set the xpen on. If you are worried about him slipping, you could lay the linoleum down, then the fleece, then put the xpen on top of that.

I’ve tried laying down fleece, but he “forgot” how to use his litterbox and peed all over it. I ended up washing it so much i just gave up and took it out. He is such a picky little bunny lol

Yes, bunnies do tend to confuse fleece for litter….
I would just use some linoleum

I have linoleum under my x pens and I think it’s great. Super easy to clean and my bunnies are used tomorrow now- so they even Binky on it! You can put down sea grass mats in one area if you want to give them more secure footing until they get used to it.

Also, my bunnies used to pee on fleece, but I started using old towels as blankets and they did not pee on them at all. After a few weeks, I tried the fleece again and they did not pee on it anymore!
