wow never seen cotton happier

well yesterday I put xpen around computer only he ex[plored new area and he ohhh so enjoyed his toys last nite. he was so happy chewing up the phone book in   a box   the willow tunnel and his carrot basket    I put his papaya tablet in his willow ball and he went bezerk trying to get it out. it finally fell out where he couldnt’ reach it and he got mad and went hmpf. I had to go get it for him.    he was having a ball last nite. I think he is happy to be the only bun again. he knew somethign was up that morning and  seemed to know he would be #1 again. he came and dug and dug on me etc. ahhhh. and he isnt’ marking anymore. he explored the other ex bunny area and left only a few poo no mroe pee with 1 poo on top like hey a cherry on top with that? lol. ok sorry I am silly. guess I better go luv on him some more b4 you think I really lost it again

Yes, he clearly wants to be your only bun. I think you should print this post out and put it on your fridge, so every time you get the urge to have another bunny, you can read it as a reminder!

Seriously, except for things being so different for Itty Bitty, I think you have finally resolved it to the place you need it to be. Actually, had Itty Bitty been in a good home with the woman you gave him to last week, he never would have come back to you, so in that respect you just continued to try to re-home him. I hope someone wonderful finds him now and gives him lots of attention – and who couldn’t love a little bunny as cute as that?

Someone else here said your hubby was just trying to do something to make you happy, and I agree. I guess the poor guy upset you badly by removing Itty Bitty, then had a choice of seeing you in back pain or in emotional pain. Tried to fix it with a 3rd bunny. Sigh. Very stressful, but better for you now.

yes hubby really was trying to make me happy and perhaps make up for Laith being put down too. he knows I love solid gray cats/ rabbits and IB reminded me of Mister I had when I was a child. I loved the way he ran out to greet us always in our feet. adorable  and that beautiful ginger colored lionhead we both loved. well yes lesson learned. and hubby is sweet I told him how much I appreciate him making me happy like that and sorry it didn’t work out for us. lesson learned. he smiled. and agreed. had to explain about cotton that he will stop behaving like that now. and no more marks on my face. he jumped into my arms last nite when I was trying to brush him and he was grunting lunging and hubby was all worried about me getting bit again. I laughed and told him ohhh look Cotton just leapt into my arms to avoid getting brushed oh wow. how cute. so he settled down. awe he cares a great deal hubby does a real jewel of a man.

it’s funny, i flipflop on this issue on an almost daily basis. one day i think i want another bun, the next i read some of the hard bonding posts and i think, “nah…” the day after that i want another bun. lol…

i’m glad Cotton is happy. that’s what really counts.

If I didn’t have hubby saying one is enough, I might get another one. However, Holly is enough.
