  Now I have this low sided cardboard box. I put his phonebook and food bowl in. Honey bunny has no cage and he lives in the bathroom with his litterbox and hay etc. A baby gate at the door. Now here’s his story.
  
  In the mornings I sleep in or rather I try too. Lately. Honey Bun’s food bowl is empty about 8 a.m. He starts digging and scratching in his food bowl. If I dont’ get up and put him food he makes an even bigger racket in there. One morning recently I threw the pillow over my head so I couldn’t hear anything. I was real tired.
  
  WEll…. When I finally did get up that morning the first thing I saw when I sat up was Honey Bunny standing looking at me and his box the whole box (with his phone book and food dish in it ) he had moved to the bathroom door to be sure I would notice right away his food bowl was empty. What a smart rabbit. I was very impressed. Him sitting there with his empty bowl all upset. He made darn sure I saw what his problem was. Good thing he didn’t have a phone. I am sure he would have found my # in his phone book and made an emergency call to me. Bunny Mom it is a 911 call from Honey Bunny. He needs food ASAP GET UP.
  
  I have been putting him some extra food at nite so he has enuf to last. Plus some extra hay.That way I can sleep at least til 9. If not 11.
  
  Speaking of Honey Bunny I got to go pluck him again. It is time.
