Someone I know wants to [eventually] get their rabbits a sort of rabbit room with a [possible] refrigerator,  [definite] grooming/medicine table, simple standing shelf and a sink. She would also like to add a chair or love sofa with a TV but she said that is not mandatory. She does not have much money so she is trying to save up for this room.

The “room” she would like to use is a shed, approximately 15 feet by 15 feet [maybe slightly bigger, the limit would be 17 feet  by 17 feet] attached to her home.

I know building a room from scratch can be expensive but I’m not sure about this idea.

        Is this a good alternative?

Wow are you talking about me? Because this has been my obsession for the past couple months. Everyone has told me I am crazy for wanting to spend about 5+ thousand dollars on a “rabbit cage.” But my husband is annoyed by all the rabbits in the house(also my mom when she visits). And I am unwilling to give them up. The only difference is I want a porch swing instead of loveseat to keep things cleaner(removable/replaceable cushions on a wood frame is easier to clean if bunny pees on it. It would also be easier to clean under. Plus swinging is fun.) I also would love an attached secure outdoor run with a cat door. It would be insulated and have a heater/air-conditioned. I would have vinyl floors and walls for easy cleaning. Also I would attach a auto waterer to the sink so I don’t have to refill water bottles and the bunnies are never out of water.
