My boy Nico has been a little different lately. Normally, when you give him his nightly greens, he gobbles them down super fast. The last few nights he’s just been nibbling on them here and there throughout the night. When I wake up, they’re gone. Same with his pellets. He still goes crazy for treats though. He was also sprinting around doing some of the craziest binkies I’ve ever seen him do today, so it doesn’t really seem like he’s in pain. I’m just wondering if I should be worried or not.

Based on the information, it sounds like he just has better food security and does not feel the need to inhale the veggies all at once.

The other idea is dental issues. Chewing in veggies is different than pellets or hay, so potentially the jaw movement required to maintain grip and chew on veggies is irritating him.
