I rescued my bunny Rizzo from a shelter in February of last year. He has been to the vet numerous times to be neutered, have nails trimmed, and ended up being mildly allergic to hay. Lately, I have noticed small white things (only about 2 in his whole litter box) on his poop, and I believe he may have a mild case of worms? Overall he is healthy and his favorite hobby is eating and begging for more pellets and veggies even though he just ate . He is only an indoor bunny, but maybe he has had the worms since I rescued him? Also, would I need to take him to the vet (he absolutely hates it), or could I get the medication myself? If you cannot spot it it is bottom middle and a little above. Thank you

The poop looks kind of wet and a bit misshapen. If it is worms, they need to be identified so that they can be treated by the right medication. There are different kinds of worms and they may be treated with different medications. You can take a fresh sample of Rizzo’s poop to your vet to have it analyzed. Call them first and tell them that’s what you would like to do.
