        what do you all use for worming your rabbit? my cat has worms and i just caught him laying in morelands hutch.  i am working cats and dog today and need to do the rabbit too to be safe.

          I would talk to the vet about this. I don’t normally use this unless my rabbits have had a fecal test and tested positive for this and gotten a prescription from a vet.

            okay, do i just bring some pellets into the vet?

              Yes, you should be able to bring in some fresh fecal pellets to the vet to have them tested.

                Wow I mean of course they could get worms… But never thought of it?!

                Although alot of worms have to be inhaled, grow two life cycles in the lungs and then be coughed up and swallowed to get in the digestive tract…Would that mean those kind of worms rabbits can’t get? Because they couldnt’ cough anything up if they can’t vomit right? *shakes head* I dunno…

                  I’ve gotten a rabbit from a shelter with pinworms or hookworms (cannot remember which one) and they can get pinworms and hookworms from cats (and I suppose dogs too) and of course each other.
