i am still updating the bonding betw/ the buns in my “getting another bunny”  thread… but i just had to share this right quick with everyone!!!

Mead had runtime earleir this morning for about 90 minutes, then i switched and Max came out.  it was his first time having full house exploration (his litterbox has been perfect… so i thought i’d give it a try.)  well i just walked into the bunny room and Max is laying flopped right next to Mead’s pen.  she is sitting on the other side… LICKING HIS BACK thru the bars!

how did i go so long without a camera? i’ll never know! it’s great being able to just grab it and upload pics ASAP!

i know… don’t they look so similar!? that was what drew me to him to begin with, how much they looked alike!

when i do another washing machine session, i might try to take some pics, or even a small video, if i can manage it while keeping them safe.

yes mzmette… he is used to bunnies. he was kept together with a dozen other buns at the rescue. he is craving her companionship, but she is going to need to relinquish the role of “Queen of the House” for it to work.

when they are bonded, i will be combining the xpens into one big rectangle.  i like having somewhere that i know they’re safe for nighttime or when we are gone.

Beka – This is so fabulous!!!!! They look so much alike. I don’t think you are going to have any trouble whatsoever!!! Can you let them out together or is it too early?  Max is just a love bugger. He just wants to be with her.  Soooooo cute!!!!

Well Mead won’t have to relinquish the “Queen of the House” role as long as Max is willin’ to be her subject. The important thing is that he’s used to other buns and therefore knows that there needs to be a boss and he’s probably not it.

I think your bonding will go rather quickly/easily with these two.

i’m going to continue updating in my other thread, but i just want to say we took another washer ride. they were fine during, i left them in thw basket for about five minutes after and Mead nipped his back twice. both times she got the water bottle.
