I often wonder where Bella is, throughout the day…

..and this is where I usually find her! Groomin’ the pillows on our bed.. especially, right after hubby leaves for work or class. She has to go and groom his pillows. I think she misses him.

Awww so cute! Either she misses him or she wants to tidy up when the big stinky boy leaves Hehehe. Just kidding!

This seems to be a thing with rexes/mini-rexes. I can’t for my life get Fiver to groom me…but he grooms my stuffed animals, my pillows, my bedcovers, the towels I put down for him, his bunny beddies, etc.
I’ve heard that if they do this while looking at you, it is really their way to say they love you (as in they would groom you, but this is their substitute).
Bella has such beautiful markings, she is gorgeous!

what a beautiful bunny! that’s so funny she grooms your pillows, mine just jump up on the bed and leaves me a single poo, just one, in the middle just to taunt me I think.

Bella has sat next to me and groomed me for long periods, after I’ve given her a full body massage ..so I’m not sure if she thinks I don’t do a good enough job with my personal hygiene ..or she loves me. Hopefully, it’s the latter and not the former..

I’m not sure what to think of her grooming the pillows on the bed.. as she does have a tendency to tidy up after the hubby.. but she also sleeps on anything that belongs to him, when he’s away. I think she loves him, too…

It’s amazing to me that animals with similar history are always the most incredible.. yet the life forms (note I did not say, “humans”) that dump them, abandon them, toss them out.. they never even see this. The love ..the personality ..the awesome’ness that is my Bella Bunneh …how could any human turn that away? I am blessed.

                    Thanks, Everyone!

Bella is so beautiful! That is so cute she grooms his pillows! I bet she misses him! What a doll!

We are definitely all blessed to have bunnies in our lives – or shall I say we are blessed that they let us in their lives

My Mini-Rex does this to our pillows too! Sometimes I have to make him stop or he will totally soak a big chunk! Silly bunnies.

I think you’re right that it’s a Mini Rex thing. Spockie loved licking his favorite pillows. Sammy never grooms anything but Herself and me.

Didn’t you conclude that Sammy was part rex? She looks like she has the face. :-/

I was told she might be, and for a while it seemed to fit, but I have serious doubts now.
Her fur is not velvet, but it is really silky instead. Very smooth and lustrous, but I think that may be due to her love of hay.

She is becoming such an opposite of Spockie that it’s hard to think they are the same breed. I am leaning more toward the smaller version of the Rhinelander. Forgot the name of those. It’s her body shape, and the fact that she’s still growing it seems.
