        Hi!
Does anyone know where to buy wire covers online and what kind are good exactly?
We have A LOT of wires in our living room, but i’d like to protect a small area. Thank you!

Do you have a Lowe’s near you? You can find them in the electrical department there.

Is this what you are looking for?  I’ve ordered from them and they are very nice and proceeds go towards their rescue.

I just use rubber tubing I got in the plumbing department, split it down a side with a pair of scissors and covered the wires. It’s mega cheap.

Yeah, I buy plumbing tubing too and split it. I buy the very thick stuff, as I have found if it is thinner they can still chew through it.

I have to assume that the aquarium tubing is similar.

make sure you don’t get the kind that’s sort of ribbed on the outside. my bun thinks it makes a fun noise and therefore tries to chew the wires more than before.

Similar to what Sarita offered, there is the same kind of tubing but in a variety of colors from http://cableorganizer.com/wire-loom/colored.html. It is the corrugated kind that corpathina was warning against though. This doesn’t entice my bunnies, but obviously some bunnies chew on it anyway, but you could see if the company sends out samples and see if it is something your bunnies seem interested in. Regardless though, even with any cord covers, the cords with the covers have to be somewhat out of the way otherwise it’s all fair game.

Depending on how you’re set-up, it’s still a good idea to block behind desks or TV stands with NIC grids. Like Binkybunny said, wire covers can protect and some buns will leave them alone, but they are not always fool-proof. We have our desk and entertainment center situated in a way where most wires are tucked behind grids, and the few that HAVE TO stick are are carefully covered. Also be careful of laptop cords, cell phone chargers, video game controllers… things that are not out all the time. Many times we have forgotten a cord was still out and let the buns out and IT IS THE FIRST THING THEY GO TO!

Any home centre (where you’d buy flooring, lights, etc) is where you’ll find it. Some petstores sell them too in the rodent/rabbit section
