Well  I have decided to stop putting salve on his lip.  If it isn’t healed by  7/1  he is going to the vet and she will probably give me some salve for him that will work much better.

He is getting too stressed out about it.  I figure give him a break til if he has to go to vet and get a salve then deal with it at that time.  That way if it isn’t healed by 7/1  and he gets a new salve He won’t be so stressed out til then.

Besides we have moved furniture around agian.  HE seems ok with it now.

Such a strange little ongoing nodule thing – poor bunny. It doesn’t sound like an abscess or anything from all that you have posted about it.

Bailey used to get strange little red nodules on her ears. They would come and go. The vet took a biopsy. It wasn’t an abscess or a bug bite, it just came back as an inflammation. (sort of like hives without the itch) One did get so big we had it removed, but it came back but never grew to the same size. My vet said she had seen it in dogs before, but not as common in rabbits. Just sort of reaction that we never pinpointed. As she grew older, the just sort of flattened out and became less red.

Yes BB it is really strange this problem.  It isnt’ swollen or red.  It is on the surface.  I saw him scratching at it last nite.  I had a good view of him doing this as I was reclined on the couch and he was above me on the head rest. Just makes me wonder if it is an itchy allergy and if so to WHAT.  Or just like you said this strange thing that comes n goes.

I am going to ask the vet if he should have a cone til it is healed or just a salve.  When he went b4 she said that it was strange and she never saw this on a rabbit.   I am washing all their bowls every day 2x a day.

I took him off blueberries but it is still there.  I will just have to wait and see what the vet says.  Next week and I am ready.

Knowing Cotton he would be absolutely depressed and stressed with a cone.  I would prefer not to put one.

With the new arrangement in the living room he hides under the computer and won’t come out to eat.   I picked him up early and brought him to his house and he ate and calmed down.  He was expecting me to put med on his lip poor thing and wouldn’t come out. from under the computer desk.  Yes the wires are tucked behind the nic cubes.

He is here now chewing cardboard standing his little paws on my leg so I have to go pet him of course.
