share abit of information about ourselves! We talk about and know all our buns quite well but who is the person typing? we have picture posts and the career post but its nice to know some little pet peeves and such of the people we talk to nearly every night!

        So heres mine..

I am studying to be a teacher, I have my own place although its kinda in between places at the minute, I have to move again soon in the summer, I own a crappy car because its all I can afford and eventually I hope to move to the countryside so I can have a little cottage with abit of land for all the animals I hope to have. I dont get on with any of my family apart from my grandparents and uncle. I live with my boyfriend Darren, who I have been with since 2005 so nearly 3 years now! My birthday is 19th may (soon yay!) my biggest fear is geese. I love tattoos and i am currently trying to loose weight therefore i am on Atkins.

        your turn!!

              Ehhh….Lets keep this one going!!

I live in Northern Canada (booo…) hehe and I hope to go back to school for September 2009, either taking veterinary (provided I can get over the squeamishness) or my doctorate of chiropractic (to be an animal chiropractor) I want to live on a large plot of land in the county somewhere warm (either the Okanogan valley or somewhere in the US (I have dual-citizenship)) and have LOTS of animals!! I love travelling-particularly to warm/sun destinations and hope to be spending two weeks in the mayan riviera or cuba in the next month or so. I drive a Corolla and work in an office…My birthday is tomorrow actually heheh I’d say my biggest fear is fish but I’m learning to get over it (I scuba dive LOL) and my biggest pet peeve is people driving in the fast lane under the speed limit!!

I live in Denver – but really want to make it further into the Rockies, small town, house at the end of a dirt road – someplace like Gunnison, CO or Moscow, ID – with a few acres and a stream. I want a darkroom, a shop, and a killer kitchen.

                I want lots of animals!

I love to travel. I really want to go to Tuscany, Ireland – have a real Guinness – and a remote island in the Caribbean.

I have a hard time making friends. However, people – and animals – like me.

                I am a Netflix & NPR junkie.

I am freaked out by veins in meat, weather is it beef, fish or what ever – this can be a problem when you are a chef & have to cut things up a lot!

I have a standing invitation to people I know that if they buy the food – I will cook it! No one ever takes me up on this.

I have a lot of pet peeves – one big one is when people tell me how selfish and horrible I am for not having kids when then never ask why I don’t have kids.

I have a Subaru Forester – it is my “practical” dream car. My “fun” dream car is a Lotus Elise!

i am a freelance architectural designer and i rent-to-own a bungalow semi (gma & gpa own it).  actually it’s been in the family since my mom & dad bought it right before i was born.  it was the first house i lived in and when my family moved when i was 4 yrs old my grandparents bought the house for a rental property.  then when i was 25 & ready to move out on my own my grandparents were looking for a tenant & so i moved back in.  i’ve been living here ever since & love it.

i own a 2000 vw golf which i love (aside from the foreign parts & service).  it’s actually my 2nd 2000 vw golf.  i had my first one for only a few months when i got in a head-on collision with a pick-up truck & totalled it.  i walked away with a bruise on my foot, airbag burn on my nose and a bruised ego for having been dumb enough to trust some one who waived me through traffic.   i figured since it took a hit that well i’d get another.

i am happy & single & quite comfortable with my furbabies.  i’d love to find ‘mr. right’ but hate the dating part so… i just try to keep an open mind & heart & force myself out on dates when the opportunity arises.  mostly from online dating (gag) but it’s hard to meet new peeps when you’re in your 30’s i find.  so far online dating has only provided me with a slew of riduculous stories to laugh about with my friends afterwards and a list of ‘first date deal-breakers’.   first date drunkeness, shouting racial slurs, and turning down out-of-town jobs to be near me after one date are a few that top the deal-breaker list so far.

i am afraid of spiders.  fortunately the dog likes to eat ’em so when i shriek he comes running to the rescue.

i love ‘sex in the city’ – i live vicariously thru my girls – and cannot wait for the movie this summer… yay!!!

my b-day is oct 18th which was a looooooooot of fun during college because it falls during ‘k-w oktoberfest’.   my city’s oktoberfest is the largest bavarian festival in north america because this area has a high population of peeps with germanic heritage (myself included).  basicaly it’s a beer drinking festival.  lol.  oktoberfest ist wunderbar!

I am origionally from Ohio. I grew up with all kinds of animals. In the summer, I would go on benevolent trips in connection with my church. When I was 16, I went to Dominican Republic. When I was 17, I went to Chile for a month.

I went to college in Tennessee. I spent 5 years there. After college, I lived in China for a year teaching English. It is my life’s dream to go back there and live longer term, but I got married.I went back to college after China, and got my master’s degree. I got married exactly one week after graduation.

I am a step parent to two almost non teens. When I got married, they were 13 and 15. Now, One is 18 and the other is 21. I am going to be a grandmother before I’m going to be a biological mother. We want children of our own, but it hasn’t happened yet. I’m 33 but people say I look a lot younger. My husband is 45, but he is my best friend. I was practically raised by my grandparents, so I understand a lot. We get a long great.

I live in Orlando, which is kind of funny. I’m a country slicker if there is such a thing. I’m not really a city slicker. Right now we live in a duplex and I drive a Toyota Camry. I’m a red head and a lefty. I am deathly afraid of snakes. I teach people English for a living.

My birthday is January 7. That’s about all there is

Aussie chick here … Originally from the UK .. .migrated with family when I was 6 … Have spent all my life in Perth … but am a devil for travelling overseas … love Canada and Europe.  However, have a tendency nowadays to travel either interstate or to Bali and Thailand.  Going to Bali in July with Pearl (daughter).  Went to Sydney last Nov and to Melbourne this year (first time!).

I own my own house … am a do-It girl … will do most anything around the house (with the exception of using an electric drill).  Love my gardening, outdoorsy stuff, BBQ’s with friends, keeping fit and healthy is a must for me and love my wine and chocolate (more work on the cross trainer though), absolutely enjoy entertaining and cooking (my favs are homemade lasagne and cheesecake!)… and have taken recently to canvas art work.  My best places to visit are the wine country down south to relax, enjoy the local wine and food and sunsets sitting on the beach.

I am 46, single (STILL!) and have a great job.  My daughter is the light of my life … then Luey and Piggies.  Have a great circle of friends, both male and female … I just love LIFE and being here to enjoy it .

How people describe me is bubbly, dry sense of humour, cheeky and a bit naughty! LOL.

Only here once so I guess we have to make the most of it and enjoy each and every day.

LOL why my car? It’s a good car, but it is pretty common. LOL  I’m kind of a car wierdo anyway.  My dream car used to be a Saturn. (Don’t ask me why) Now it is a mini cooper, I also think the new version of  VW bugs are cute.

I’m 21, finishing up my 4th year of a Bachelor of Psychology – I will be graduating after 1 more semester, so December 2008.
I was born in Seattle, Washington, lived in Calgary Alberta for many years and then moved to Nova Scotia, then to New Brunswick in 2004 upon entering university.

I recently got out of a 4.5 year relationship which you guys helped me through, so I am starting a new life again, as I had dated him since I was 16. So I am now discovering what I enjoy doing and doing things for myself.

I’m fairly shy, but trying to become more self confident and get more self esteem.

I LOVE animals, all animals. I have 6 buns, 3 guinea pigs, a lot of fish, and 2 horses, and am looking forward to getting my Sheltie puppy in June. I also just bought my first home and will be moving in June. I plan to move one of my horses onto the property and I am really, really looking forward to that!

I love watching Animal Planet, and cooking. I plan to either become a vet technician or some kind of counselor.

I love horseback riding and spending time outside, writing and drawing. I originally wanted to be a novelist, having written 4 books in my teens (none are published), but university work has overcome my ability to write over the last few years.

I recently also got addicted to The OC, and have been watching it obsessively

I live in Melbourne, Australia. I am married with 2 kids, 2 cats, 1 fish and my adorable Freddy-kins. I grew up with 2 dogs, 2 cats, budgies, chickens, a cockatoo and a duck. I am a stay home mum but I used to work in childcare.
We are struggling to pay off a mortgage and have plans to renovate our little 2 bedroom house in a year or so. My hubby will have to watch out when we have more room = more animals!
Chris (husband) and I have been together for 14yrs and have lived in London for 2yrs. We travelled around Europe but have yet to do USA, Canada, Egypt, Greece, Africa….hopefully will squeeze more travel into our lives when kids are older (But how could I leave Fred?!)
I have great plans for my retirement years… I want to paint, learn an instrument, travel, and live on a golf course. Ohh yeah, and have lots of money for new clothes and the odd nip and tuck when necessary(!)
My Dad has just been diagnosed with bowl cancer and this has made me realise that life is too short. I want to get fit, stay healthy and happy and dish out as much love as I can to my family and friends ( those both human and furry).
Sorry, this has turned into a bit of a philosophical rant from me!
I was enjoying “Lost” but it’s not on at the moment and we seem to just have loads of reality shows on the tv atm.
I’ve never read a Harry Potter book!
Used to love Stephen King books but find them too disturbing now I have kids (must be the change in hormones).
Sexiest man alive? Has to be Brad Pitt doesn’t it?
Sexiest woman? Brad’s wife of course!
What else? Oh, I am an aunty 14 times over…

I got you. Mine is so common that there is usually another one like it in the same parking lot. I can’t tell you how many times I”ve confused it with other cars, that is once I’ve found it. I’ve lost it many times too. LOL I guess I forgot to tell you all that I don’t have any since of direction.

I like this idea! Who doesn’t love to talk about themselves!!?? And learning about everyone!!!

My name is Justina. I’m 22 years old….Going to college and will have my BS in Justice Administration in December, then I will be going to law school! Can’t wait!

I was engaged at 19, married at 20, seperated at 21, and divorced at 22. Thats my crazy story! When I divorced my husband my mom disowned me, told me “I would rather have Mike as a son than you as a daughter.” Thanks mom, huh? She won’t even acknowledge that I have a new boyfriend, and we’ve been together for over a year!

My dad passed away last summer (he was 81, 60 years old when I was born! True biological father!!!!!), that was really hard cuz he was my ROCK. He totally believed in me and he knew I could make it on my own and he was always just so darn proud of me! My law degree will be totally dedicated to him!!! I miss him!!! He supported me when my husband and I split, told me to do what made me happy—he said I was young and needed to live life!

The lights of my life are my two nephews (9 and 5) and my niece who is almost 3. I dunno what I’d do if I didn’t have them! I wish I lived closer to them!!

My car went ka-put last year….so my dad put up his car as collateral so I could get a new one. (One last gift before he died!). I bought a 2001 Grand Prix….doesn’t seem that exciting, but when the best thing you’ve ever owned was a 1994 Oldsmobile Cutlass, I believe its amazing!!! Sunroof and all! Gonna get my motorcycle license this summer so I can go out riding with my boyfriend!

When I’m not in class or studying, I am working in the Meat Dept. at Hy-Vee Food Store, working out (trying to lose weight, and I’m 20 pounds down!), traveling back to Iowa (2 hours) to see High School friends and my nephews and niece, or squeezing in time with the BF.

I have a HUGE wine addiction and that combined with my Desperate Housewives addiction can be dangerous

                                            Hello everyone!
I’m a 25 year old research assistant. I work in Geriatric medicine and most of my projects involve Alzheimer’s disease. I’ve been contemplating going back to school since I graduated in ’05 but haven’t decided what I’d like to do a Masters in yet. I love to travel and I’m fortunate enough to have been to Europe twice. I’ve also been to the DR and last year tried backpacking for the first time in Nicaragua. This year I’m settling for a trip to Chicago for a work symposium, I hear there is a giant ferris wheel AND fireworks twice a week on the waterfront!

I’m the proud mom to two mischievous bunnies, Stewart and Annabelle. I’ve always been an animal lover so when my family’s boarder collie died last year, and then my roommate’s girlfriend moved out and took the cat with her, I knew I needed a new fur baby to spoil! I’m glad to have taken these little guys in, and to have discovered this great network of bunny mom’s and dad’s!

I drive a 2005 Ecco, love good wine, great food, and I’m super happy it’s bbq season here again! My biggest pet peeves are people who don’t use their blinkers and banking fees! Oh – I also hate, hate, HATE cleaning the tiles in my shower!!!

ok – I think I’ve procrastinated long enough at work. Thanks for starting this topic Kimberly!

i am glad its BBQ season too, although i HATE the hot weather, i prefer the colder months, this time of year particularly when it isnt too hot and isnt too cold (it is here anyway!)
