Lick the carpet between his paws when he’s being sleepy and having a rest?
It’s incredibly cute and silly, but I do wonder why he does it.

Also, what are the best ways to cool off a bun? He’s breathing a fair bit faster in this summer heat and I reckon he’s a bit warm in that fuzzy coat of his. I have a hot water bottle SOMEWHERE I can freeze but I’m not sure where… And drinking water bottles get condensation, but he loves to sit by them even when they’re empty so maybe that’d be a good one, a water bottle with a leg warmer on it to stop soggyness?
        :]

He likes to sit in front of my desk fan on my bed with me (He watches movies with me on his blanket by the fan) which I need to keep on against my laptop. It’s not gonna give him a little chill or anything is it? I know the cold from fans is more penetrating than other things.

How are everyone’s summerbuns? (Assuming you’re in summer or hot weather generally)?

I know. It’s funny how they do that. Maybe grooming by proxy? Sleep grooming? Cleaning their tongue? lol Don’t know!

I’m a bit chilly where I am at the moment. For you & bun though, cold water bottles are the way to go. And cold surfaces to lie on top of too. Have you seen the cooling tips in Bunny Info section?

My Boston grooms anything and everything in sight….carpet, leather couch, kitchen floor, rugs, and in fact, she licked the WALLS the day we moved into our new place…hahaha I guess I just figured she loves everything! It is super cute!

I keep a fan blowing back and forth by Boston’s cage to keep her cool in the summer. I’m never tried the water bottle, cuz I just know she will chew her way through it!
