  I have NO business looking at CL. How am I supposed to concentrate on work now when I know this rabbit is living in a box on WET PAPER?

  I saved my rabbit from a butcher shop, but I’m moving to NYC and she needs a good home. She is so soft and adorable! About 4 pounds. Does not run fast or get scared of people. She is almost litterbox-trained. She comes with rabbit food, box (like a rabbit house), leash, and litterbox mix.
  
  EDITED TO ADD: Do they not allow rabbits in NYC???

  oh no maybe you could say something to the rescue in your location and they can keep an eye out? I dont think there would be much they can do though as there is no proof cruelty is taking place i guess, sadly.

  Argh that’s tempting. I live in Alexandria. I don’t think I can house a second bunny yet, though. 🙁
  
  If you do say something, try the good folks here: http://www.alexandriaanimals.org/~awla/main.cfm. It’s where I got Quincy and they have at least one experienced bunny lover there.

  I can so relate. I also should stay off these sort of sites but I usually dont. I see all sorts of adds like this on my citiy’s kijiji site. I wish I could run a small scale rescue to help all these little unfortunates.
  
  I’m SO SICK of seeing people giving away rabbits as well as other pets because they don’t have time. How much time does one rabbit actually take? Okay I spend most of the day caring for my 3 rabbits but unfortunetly I doubt most rabbit owners are like us BinkyBunny members.

  I go on kijiji site all the time, thats how I got two of my bunnies, I always send add’s to my other half about diffent bunnies, that need help or a new home, he keeps telling me we can’t rescue them all…..=-(….man oh man I need to win some money, then maybe I can…lol..

  yer im the same, i can NEVER understand how people can get a dog/cat/rabbit/etc. and then sell him saying ‘we just cant give him the time he needs’ well you shouldnt have got him/her in the first place then should u? ARGH!
