I just gave Fern her cardboard box back and she immediately started ripping it from the inside out, (the inside of it is already ripped and torn by her earlier chewing).

I then thought that whenever Fern can get her teeth on cardboard she ripps it, digs it, and shreds it. I don’t know what it it about cardboard she loves so much but she just loves digging and ripping it so much! It is kind of good becuse she does not love destroying anything as much as she enjoys destroying cardboard and it is not like we have some special cardboard lying around the house that she cannot chew. but sadly she does chew the coroplast in her cage as well as the cardboard in her cage.

But does anyone’s bunny love cardboard as much as mine?

When she gets a box put in her room she practicly throws herself on it chewing and shredding. you can just see her enjoying it, it is so cute. She LOVES her cardboard!

Ruby loves tearing  up cardboard too.  Cotton is a bit slower with his.   Nothing like a free cardboard box for a bunnies entertainment and ours too.

Mr. Bunny LOVES cardboard. He’ll chew several inches off a cardboard box just while you’re sitting there. He doesn’t actually eat it, just shred off small pieces. A cardboard box can entertain him for a long time.

yeah i bought a cotton tail cottage, and pepper decided to remodel. and im not sure how much longer it is going to stay up. he decided he wanted larger windows and doors, and a hole through the first floor roof, and a thinner second floor. hmm…

Frankie loves paper products in general. But he likes regular paper more than cardboard. He’s seriously a paper fiend. I can’t leave anything important around because he EATS it!

Bindi is a cardboard box nut too! I give him a new one and I cut a little door and a window in it and he has a blast widening the doors, making a sunroof, tearing up the floor, etc. About two weeks later the box doesn’t even look like a box, then I have to get him another one.

Pip wins this one paws down. Paper towel tubes, discarded bottled water trays, BB.com store boxes…you name it, she gets her teeth into it. Digs to China through it if it’s on the floor. I have to take her tubes away from her at night or that’s all I’ll hear and I’ll get no sleep….NOMNOMNOMNOM…..

Fiver, however, seems to prefer whatever book I am reading at the moment. And if I’m not reading one, he’ll nibble the nearest piece of clothing or groom a stuffed animal.

Mimzy can take it or leave it. His favorite chew toy is a nice, juicy carrot.

This reminds me, has anyone else seen the “Rabbit Letter Opener” video at YouTube? (I think it had MIT in the title, but the bunny, although adorable, didn’t look like a graduate to me…)
