  He is a neutered new Zealand rabbit about 6 months old and he has some white string like things running through his droppings.
  I would post a picture but it keeps telling me that the file type is not allowed.

  That sounds very much like worms. I believe they’re called pinworms. I recommend taking some poop to the vet to confirm and going from there.

  Confirmed with the rescue that his brothers and sisters who lived with him are exhibiting the same symptoms. She gave me the name of an over the counter medication called safeguard dewormer. If the symptoms don’t subside within the next three to four weeks we will take a trip to the vet’s
  I just moved into my own apartment and while I can afford a vet visit I don’t think this warrants one. Do you think it’s necessary. She said that he was just at the vet when he was neutered and was given a clean bill. Of health

  It looks like safeguard dewormer is fenbendazole. If it is, then that will deal with pinworms. My rabbit when she was younger was treated for pinworms. along with her mother. She had never been outside, so I assume she picked them up from her mothers poop.
