I noticed yesterday that Waffles had a solid white circle thing in his eye. I dont know what it was and the only thing I think it is, is eye discharge but it wasn’t gooey or sticky, and it was completely solid. It reminded me of egg whites when they are cooked and he had another one today in the same eye. They dont seem to bother him, he isnt wiping his eyes or anything. I just want to know what it is becuase ive never seen anything like it before.

Is it small? Wick has had that before if I’m imagining the same thing. I imagine it was an accumulation of dirt or something and it eventually went away, most likely because he was able to groom it out.

Hey, not sure if it’s the same as what you’re getting but one of my bunnies loves to sleep on her side with her eye on the floor. She gets fluff stuck in it because of that. The first time I noticed it I was really worried so I took her to the vet, who wiped it out and confirmed it was fluff (I was paranoid it was from an infection but it wasn’t. The vet also checked for scratches and there weren’t any). It never irritates her eye – if she doesn’t get it out herself after 1-2 days I’ll gently wipe it off if I can, with a soft kitchen towel soaked in lukewarm water. My bunny has really fine fur so it ends up looking like your description, but you should visit a vet for peace of mind and so you know whether it’s something to worry about

So the vet said they’re nothing to worry about since she is showing no signs of infection. Wrote them off as eye boogers lol. I just feel so bad, I feel like it obstructs her vision sometimes.  @Wick what was your conclusion?

It went away after a day. I more so remember now that I actually got it out of Wick’s eye (he’s used to me wiping boogies for him, but this was a bigger one so I was more intrusive). He never had one after that so I wrote it off as an unusual accumulation of eye boogey. Is it the same one, or are you regularly taking them out and they come back?

I’d say 40% of the time she has them. I just realized at the vet visit we found out 2 of her molars are slightly maloccluded so that is more likely the reason behind it. She’s due for another checkup in a few weeks.
