Oliver’s URI has been improving sort of but he still has sneezing fits. I was hoping that it would be from something stuck in his nose instead so I looked inside and found these weird white dots. I included a pic but it might be hard to find without zooming in. It’s like some white boogers but I’ve never noticed any white discharge… I only noticed dark wet fur under his nose but that was all. I’m wondering if these are the beginning of white mucous? Or if every bunny has this? Or if it means he does have white discharge but I’ve never noticed and these are the leftovers?? Sorry for spamming about my sick bun but he’s my first and I’m so unexperienced and he’s already sick I just want to make sure I’m doing the best possible for him.

Actually the photo won’t update because it exceeds the max size): it’s hard to explain but they’re just tiny white dots stuck to his fur inside his nose and the top of the inside of his nose

Never observed white dots physically in Wick’s nose before. He’s had white snot of course, but as someone who looked on his nose often, never white dots. Are they like speckled, physical objects, or is it liquid white?

They are speckled physical objects.. he has white nose fur but I can see that the dots sit on top of the fur. It’s really hard to explain :/

Are they residue from dried discharge perhaps? Like dried human snot haha. This happens with Wick a lot. He had it all over his face sometimes just from he cleaning himself.
