Hey y’all, so I have had my bunny for over a year and I just recently got him fixed. I was wondering if his reckless behaviors like digging and chewing on everything, spraying and pooping everywhere and also just not being able to sit still for even 5 seconds, will eventually stop with age or is this just his personality? I really want to let him have a free range life but with this behavior he’s limited to his cage and the bathroom. When I do let him out he will never lay down and relax he’s always searding for something until I put him in his cage then he’ll lay down and act like he’s completely exhausted. Which makes me believe its just his personality being so curious. What are y’alls thoughts?

Digging and chewing are natural bunny behaviours to some extent – excessive digging and chewing can be driven by hormones or frustration. The pooping and spraying is hormonal. How long ago was he neutered? It’s very common for bunnies to go through a post neuter craze which means that their behaviour gets a little worse before it settles. This is because their hormones are sort of all over the place but they will settle
