hello I haven’t got a rabbit yet that probably most of you know but Im trying to figure everything out

        so here are my questions

        1. what time do you feed you rabbits
        2. do you feed them different things at different times
        3. and should I feed 2 rabbits at different times or in a different room

I know it might not work the same as your doing but I just want to sort everything out

Hey! I feed my rabbits twice a day, once in the morning at 9-10am when I give them pellets and top up their hay, and once in the evening at 6-7pm when I give them greens and top up their hay again. Generally twice a day is good to help regularly check they are eating normally and spot if they are not to keep an eye on them in case of any health problems. Most of their diet should be hay/grass available to them throughout the day and night anyway, so to some extent the time you feed them doesn’t matter too much.

Feeding each rabbit at the same time should be good regardless of whether they are kept separately or together, as eating together with enclosures adjacent can help the bonding process. If your rabbits are already bonded, unless one has a much greater appetite than the other feeding them together should be fine. Hope that helps!

I feed my bunny salad twice a day, once in the morning around 8-9 when I wake up and again at around 8-9 pm when I’m ending my day and winding down. I feed him a portion of pellets with his salad but also free-feed him pellets throughout the day because my Louie is still growing. I give him little bits of pellets throughout the day when I’m around. I refresh his hay every morning so he has a new amount to eat every day too. I don’t know about feeding rabbits together but I believe they can eat together, not cure for unbonded bunnies though.

i think the recommended amount for an adult rabbit is 1/4 to 1/2 cup of pellets per 6lbs of body weight every day 🙂

house rabbit society have a good FAQ type page on a rabbit’s diet that takes you through the recommended foods and quantities for baby bunnies all the way up to their senior years:

                https://rabbit.org/faq-diet/

                hope that helps! 🙂
