I might be asking the impossible, but what are your *favorite* parts of bunnies in general? Of course, not mentioning their shy innocence and courageous spirit!
their eyes ears teeth. I just luv little bunny teeth. my nephew and great nephew had what I call bunny teeth when they were younguns. those little teeth are so cute. and a peek of their quick little tongues licking around their mouth after some water or a meal. the eyes and ears let me know what they are going listening or resting. then just all in all the whole bun
i love the wiggly nose and the way the ears move and follow u hehe
I like their lil mouths and tongue. I love watching them yawn and drink water. So cute!
I THINK THE EARS ARE THE BEST PART CAUSE THERE ARE SO MANY DIFFERENT SHAPES AND SIZES. THEY ARE SO CUTE! FROM THE TEENY TINY DWARFS TO THE GIANT REXS! BUT YES ITS VERY HARD TO CHOOSE JUST ONE THING!
i also love their ears. i love all the shapes & sizes & positions. i love the way they’re barometers for mood & noise and i especially love how buns looks when they’re cleaning their ears! when pinky is loafing in the living room with both ears folded down & back & a small noise sounds one of her ears will perk instantly. if it’s a bigg noises both ears will perk. so cute. i call these one-ear or two-ear alarms ![]()
i love the twitchy noses. i really love it when pinky cuddles upto my cheek & i can feel her nose twitch. too cute for words.
and i love bunny lips. catching a glance of bun lips is great… even better when you get a piccy!
This is a tough one!
I’m going to have to go with wiggly little nose – I love seeing if they are interested or if I am boring them!
But, Bunny yawns are awesome!
And buns cleaning each other ears – cause it looks like they are telling secrets – is super cute!
Tongues!!! Especially when getting kisses!!!!
And eyes are my fave fave fave…I can tell what Boston is thinking when I look in her eyes. If she’s happy, upset, sad, or comforting me!
I love watching them clean their ears, it’s just so cute.
– Annette
I love that incredibly soft bit of fur at the back of the head, right behind the lop “crown”. Just wanna bury my fingers in it.
Second are ears – but I’ve had a lop so long that uppy eared buns look nervous to me with all the swiveling!
I had to pick other. I’m pretty partial to the little cotton tail. I love when they stand up and use the tiny little tail to balance and it wiggles. I always joke and say “pull it and you’ll get good luck”
Although I must agree with Scooter and Annette. There is nothing cuter than a bunny ear wash session!
Also it’s insanely cute when Bindi and Storm beg for treats and look at me with their little lips hanging down, looking all pouty. Pink bunny lips, too cute.
You guys crack me up! ^_^ LIPS LIPS LIPS! I have never seen bunny lips before until now having my own bunny. They are the most precious thing to watch (especially when begging for treats) and they feel absolutely wonderful on your face when they are tasting you to see if you’re good to eat.
I also like bunny toes, which I had no idea they didn’t have pads like cats, but just a lot of fluff and then skin. So yeah, I voted other.
Too many cute things about bunnies to pick just one!
LPT, did you ever have parents who’d give you a salt shaker and say, “Go on out in the yard and shake this on the bunny’s tail and he’ll freeze and you can catch him.” And then they are laughing themselves silly from the front window of the house watching you do it?
I did. >_<
I have to agree with LittlePuffyTail….bunny tails. I remember the first time I saw a bunny tail…I was shocked at how long they actually are. I actually thouhgt they were little balls….DUH!
But Bunny lips are a close second…..I love to watch Shadow chew stems from one end to another.
I said other because I just love every part of a rabbit. My Ebony now loves being picked up and cuddled, what a magic moment. 🙂
I love bunny lips too, but I really like the whole face surrounding the mouth and nose (cheeks?). Spockie would not just let me pet his head – he pushed his whole face into the palm of my hand so I had a handful of the whole thing. And of course, once you’ve felt Mini Rex fur you can never go back.
(A vet once told me he had the biggest lips she’d ever seen. I didn’t know that bunnies even had lips!)
Then there’s bunny belly….
babybunsmom: With regards to that picture of Pinky, only two words in response: SO CUTE!
babybunsmom: I agree with Scooter and Annette, great Pinky pic. Would it be okay if I cloned Pinky??? I’ll bring her back, lol She is way too cute!
I love Velvet and Dancer’s cheeks. I love rubbing them because they will flop over to the side or bundle up in an intense little bunny square to thoroughly enjoy the attention.
I also love, love, love Velvet’s hands. She will curl them up when I rub her cheeks. Sooo cute! If I put my index finger under her paw, she will wrap her hand around the tip of my finger. Gosh, I love that!!!
I also love her little butt. She sticks it up in the air when she does the flop. So cute! That little square bum in the air!
Dancers feet are all fluffy and though he isn’t comfortable with me touching him everywhere, I have been able to touch those. They are all compact and full of fur (Velvet’s feet are very deinty and there is not too much hair on hers). I wish I could kiss his feet (well, I do, but in another sense, haha!)!
Also, Velvet just has the most beautiful profile I have ever seen in a rabbit (not that I have seen all that many bunnies… but…). She is just so pretty!
