So Indy keeps digging on my leg when I am on the computer. I’ve taken it as he wants me attention. Am I right? The video is of him biting at my pants, digging on me, and then getting pets. I realize I am probably rewarding his bad behavior. It doesn’t hurt so much but it’s still kind of annoying and doesn’t feel great. What’s he thinking when he does this? Does he need more attention from me? Because I love him up after he does this and if I don’t give attention while he does this, he jumps into my lap and will do this to my arms and dig on my stomach or chest and nip at my long sleeves. I just want to make him happy so if you have any tips to what I can do that would be awesome! Could this be just hormones and it should be dying down now since he’s neutered?

The little man really enjoys your attention ^^ i think its cute(since my bonded pair prefer each other really lol).
I know sometimes it can be anoying, but i dont think you would prefer a rabbit that doesnt want your attention at all, and sometimes a really loving bunny (like my sisters) when stops getting attention will become a rabbit that simply doesnt care about you anymore, and believe me thats far worse :S.

          Be happy with it

So it is him really wanting me to pay attention to him? That’s what I took it as since he does it when I am in bed also, he will go on the side I am not on and dig dig dig!!! I also get tramped. lol. I don’t think it’s too annoying, you have no idea I love him to death; but i’d get on the floor with him anytime to snuggle him up -  it kinda hurts but like I said I want him to be happy and wanted to make sure that it’s what he meant by doing that. Because I pretty much reward him with snuggles and pets after he does this.

I think it’s him wanting attention. It doesn’t mean you’re not giving him enough – it just means he knows he can manipulate you, so he does 😉 I would absolutely stop petting him when he does that because it may get worse with stronger bites/doing it more often. At this point, he has you trained, not the other way around

You have one of those bunnys many people dream off glad i acknowladge that, he likes to feel loved, and boy does he love you XD, my sisters took a while (after she cried alot since he wasnt caring much about her) to get back to snuggly and “i love you” mode ^^ so never loose that, its hard to win back the affection.

That is so cute.   Cotton does that A LOT.   I am on Pinky and he hops on top me and digs.  He sits right in the way so I can’t see what I am doing too.

I just put Pinky aside and give him attention.  He doesn’t want to be petted he just enjoys doing that and  I talk to him.

Your bunny wuvs you.  Me I would stop and give her attention.  But then maybe you are having to get something done when she is doing this. and it isnt’ the right time for attention.

You are lucky you have a bun that luvs attention from you.  Lots n lots.  lol

Mimzy is a BIGTIME leg digger. Actually, he’ll dig just about anything. I find it’s probably when he either wants attention, wants treats, or wants me to move my butt. ^_^
While I’ve been treating him since his dental, he does a constant dig at either his litter, my leg or the bed covers. He’s also been a little nippy too. That can get annoying, but I just keep trying to come up with things to distract him. (It’s just like having a toddler who keeps pulling at your pant-leg going, “Momomomomomomom!!!!)
Then of course, there is the blonde lop bunny plushie he’s just found and ‘fallen in love with’ on my bed. *eyeroll* So I wouldn’t say that even a neutered bunny won’t try the mattress mambo with something he finds fetching.

That reminds me of something that happened with my mom’s old cat Jack.

My kitty, Squeakers, was going into heat for the first time. We had yet to spay her as she was so small and the vet refused to til she got bigger. So there she was, yelling her little head off.. and Jack got tired of it. So he comes along, all 28 pounds of him, determined to take care of Squeakers needs.. she was maybe 4 pounds at the time. Jack had also been neutered for going on 12 years!

So… it was rather humorous watching Jack try to “fix” Squeaky’s needs that day lol.

Oh dear…gotta agree, there’s nothing worse than a female cat in heat. >.<
Your story MB, reminds me of the Save-A-Bunny couple where the female was the Flemmie and the male was a Nethie an the caption said something about him getting sneaked into the movies in one of her ears.
Someone else commented on how bonding would’ve been dicey with that pair…especially when it came to the ‘domination behavior.’ 0_o
