        Hey all!

My two buns have been living in a diy cage since I got them. I feel slightly guilty, because they are growing very fast and the cage seems restricting for them. I do give them a lot of floor time every day, but I am planning to expand their cage area using an x-pen. They are dwarf mixes, and I haven’t seen them jump very high, so how tall should the pen be? The one I am looking at can be either 24, 30, 36, 42, or 48 inches. I am thinking 30 should be fine, but what do you guys think?

I’ve heard 36 is good. I have a 24″ and my 3 month old bun got out of that the other day (who knows how) so they can definitely get out of those!

Hi, My Netherland dwarf has jumped over a 36 inch x-pen. We decided to solve the problem by the whole pen with a thin bedsheet, and clipping it to the pen with binder clips. Hope this info may help you!!!!

Thanks everyone! I think I will go with 30, but if they start escaping I might try that sheet idea Ollie.
