Whenever I cut up apple or open the treat jars, Gipsy and Lennon stand up on their back feet like a meerkat and give me the ” hand over the treats” look!

I thought it would be interesting to see what makes your rabbits go into “meerkat mode!”

Same thing over here re: almost all things. We do have to gate off the rabbit run area, just so our dogs and the buns can get used to one another, so they’re always meetkat-ing to see what’s in the great beyond haha

Really tho, their space runs straight through the living room and they’ve got a large part of our apt, so they’ve got nothing much to miss.

a bag crinkling in the kitchen, me eating a snack, playing tubes together. We call it penguining because he tries to walk too and it’s sort of a waddle.

Haha, Bam, that sounds so like our Molly. She’s constantly up on her hind legs and very curious about everything.

Loki goes meerkat at random numerous times a day.  No reason apparent.  When he hears the fridge or the treat bag, he just runs over and bulldozes me.  He’s not a subtle rabbit.
