  How big is he? I can’t tell if it’s the lighting or not, but he does look a bit satin-ish.

  About 5 lbs. pearl grey underneath body. I was thinking satin and male. My female went right up to the cage and put her head down. I’m new to bunnies so don’t know much about the breeds.

  I’m not good with rabbit breeds unfortunately. I am curious — is your female spayed? There are cases of impregnation through cage bars.

  Oh yes I have a spayed female and neutered male that live together. The boy has not been near this bunny yet.

  Judging by the appearance of his fur, I’d say there are some Satin genes in there. Minis can be up to 5lbs… but my guess is there is something else mixed in there anyway.

  I want to say he’s a lop mix just going by body shape & roundish ears… He looks like a black rabbit that has a very sun-bleached coat!

  I have been calling him Flame, Midnight Flame, Flamie and Flamie Diablo. No devil in this one just because of the black head with fire on his back! I will be taking him for a check up/stool sample, then a neuter. He is so good with the litterbox I wonder if already neutered but I would guess someone irresponsible enough to dump him outside would not be responsible enough to get them fixed.
  
  Once neutered I will adopt him out, probably post on Pet Finder. I’m in Olympia, WA.
  
  I think it is a him, then again I thought that with the last one too which was a girl!

  I’m in the Seattle Area, but I just adopted a sweet girl for Louie! There’s a group or two on Facebook for rabbits in the PNW you might find helpful for rehoming.

  I’m so glad you got Louie a friend, I am hoping this one gets a friend, I can tell he wants one, loves grooming the stuffed orca and follows my cat when she walks by the ex-pen.
