Rabbits actually tolerate the cold better than the heat so I imagine she is enjoying the cool temperature.

Also you don’t really need bedding since you want her to get used to using a litter box. What kind of wood shavings are you using?

Is that her in the photo? She’s adorable.

Welcome! Like Sarita said, bedding isn’t necessary. People use a hay-stuffed box with outdoor rabbits, but we’re talking about when the temps get very low in the winter… The maximum temp recommended for rabbits is 80 degrees, above that they are in danger of heatstroke… so at 75, I bet your bun is perfectly comfortable.

Aspen is safe but don’t use the pine. The pine is not recommended due to the phenols emitted which have been known to cause cancer. Aspen is perfectly safe though. How old is our bunny?

This link contains info on quantities and types of food depending on age of the rabbit: http://rabbit.org/faq/sections/diet.html

You should probably take her to the vet for a checkup to make sure she’s healthy and he can give you a better estimate on age since your rescue/shelter place did not tell you. But, babies aren’t really supposed to have fresh veggies all that much, just small bits. She should be mostly eating hay and pellets (alfalfa if she really is a baby).

She’s absolutely adorable! I think she’s probably around 8 weeks old maybe a few weeks more. I would give her unlimited pellets and hay at this point. You could slowly introduce some veggies in very limited quantities too maybe a few sprigs of parsley or a romaine lettuce leaf also maybe a small piece of carrot.
