I’m really sorry, its me again, I’m trying to work out what my bun is telling me by his body language. Unfortunately I don’t speak bun (yet). I’ve already worked out that he does not like being touched, if you do try, he will bolt or cower away from your hand, even if you approach him with the back of your hand. However, sometimes, just sometimes, he will allow me to stroke him. He will be on all-fours in his usual meatloaf position and his ears will be all the way back and flat. He will allow me to stroke him, but sometimes he looks like he’s pushing his chin into the floor. Now, is this an invite to groom, or is he trying to get away from my hand? He doesn’t bolt and he lets me stroke him. I do stroke him for a few strokes and talk soothingly to him but i don’t push my luck. Is he mellowing, or am I completely mis-reading his body language?
Any help/advice is greatly appreciated x
