Gosh   Cotton is the finikiest bunny ever.     He finished the bale of alfalfa.  I know it isn’t  good for adult buns but he absolutely refuses and I mean absolutely refuses to eat timmy hay.

Cotton will eat paper and his litter (no kidding) b4 he will eat timmy hay.  And all his poops in the litterbox too.  He HATES timmy hay.   I dont know what to do.

Ordering mountain hay which he loves is somewhat expensive.  The S&H what can you do you know.   I have to order him some more in March.

Or buy another bale of alfalfa for him.  Goodness Cotton.

Also he peed on me last nite just b4 his bedtime.  What do I look like a litterbox to you?    Do I have hay sticking out all over me with litter and poop.   lol.   Ok maybe the poop from Cotton now n then I can deal with that.  But please Cotton dont’ pee on me. lol

HE must be thinking hmm whats that new smell  naa I smell better pssssss    ewww shouts Mum.  lol

Hmmm. Is the hay a new batch? Or is it the same hay he always eats and he just stopped. So he eats the alfalfa fine right? Just won’t touch the Timothy (just wanting to make sure there isn’t something going on with his teeth)

I know with my bunnies, they will ignore the hay that has been in their bin, but then I just dump back in the hay bag, mix it around and then put a fresh handful of hay in the bin and they’lll eat it. (This would happen at the rabbit shelter too) Just the fresh scent of the hay from the bag seemed to help entice them.

What about orchard hay? Its healthier for adult buns than alfalfa. And even Monkey approves of orchard grass!

The only cotton approved hay is mountain hay alfalfa and soem oat hay.   The hay from the feed store I get it from different places and he still won’t touch it.  HE just eats the alfalfa out of it and  forgets the rest.

That alfalfa from the tractor supply was very nice green with leaves.  IT looked very very good. I hope to go there to get another bale of timmy when I run out.    Ruby and Laith eat it no problem.

Cotton just wants to be the most expensive kingly bun in the house.  Special stuff for that boy.

Meadow he eats sometimes.   Orchard nope botanical nope   timmy with mint just the mint.   timmy with marigolds  nope none of it will do for King Cotton.    The other 2 no problem.
