What is bunny getting for Christmas?

I just got my order from Busy Bunny in yesterday filled with Christmas presents for the buns (even though Stormy and Olivia are on the naughty  list).

They are getting giant willow candy canes and 2 willow baskets (one peeled and unpeeled each) that I will fill with hay an treats. I  always get them a fresh pineapple too. Only the candy canes will fit in their stockings though (they all have wee little stockings with their names I hang up with ours and the cats’ mini stockings).  I just bought Olivia’s last night as it’s her first Christmas with us. They also have their own litte tree (like 10 inches tall) with tiny decorations and lights I put in the rabbit room. They have to be part of Christmas too

Binky Bunny should make a small Willow Christmas tree like just a couple feet high. I bought willow ornaments to hang on the bottom of our artificial tree so boston will stop unwrapping presents…
yay for Olivia’s first christmas….i can not believe they would be on the naughty list…..must be a fluke!!! =)

i’m a bad bunny mama… it’s looking like they’re going to have to have a post-xmas extranganza… i way underestimated what i’ll be able to spend this month and the buns’ xmas is being pushed aside… shhh… don’t tell them! fortunately they’re not sure how to decipher the calendar yet, so i’m hoping i’ll be able to get away with it… good idea with the fresh fruit. they might get a bit of banana on xmas day!

Yes, it’s official. Santa checked twice…Olivia and Stormy are on the naughty list (Olivia bit me the other day, the little brat!). Bindi is on the nice list though cuz he’s never a bad bunny.

My bunnies are the same Beka. My BF is of to Melbourne over x-mas so it’s just me & the buns living in poverty on a single income *gulp*. Hahaha, not that it’s poverty, just a restricted budget.

I’m thinking they’ll have newspaper presents they can “unwrap”, which they’ll love & I’ve gotten them a new phonebook to destroy.

C&C–hopefully your buns aren’t like Boston…she will only unwrap the presents she’s not supposed to and has NO interest in the ones we give her to unwrap…

Aw Beka, you bad bunny mommy…tell them they can come to my house for Christmas, Boston will share her toys!!!! (hehe, had to give you a hard time….i remember you giving me bad bunny mommy grief for something once…..*fails to remember for what though*…)

LPT–did you remind them that Santa is watching!!! good grief! don’t they know they need to be good right now???? lol

i still have some willow toys in the “stockroom” so they can have some of those.

sure, allenj… i’ll send them to your house the week of xmas. be aware, the double xpen comes with them… so make sure you have a lot of room… i bet you’d love to clean after 2 extra bunnies… lol! ;o)

i have to get a new willow tent after xmas, they’ve demolished it so much. they still sleep underneath it, but it’s like 5 criss-crossing twigs now… lmao.

Beka, you coulda tried telling us that Rabbits actually celebrate Christmas on January 25.  We woulda believed ya!

I’m terrible at Christmas time.  I always leave the shopping til last minute.  I do plan to give jersey a Baby Spinach, Berry and Rose Petal salad for lunch though.

Hah! My crazy family has already tried that JG, and it DID NOT work :p. NOt that I have anything against anyone’s crazy family but I’m not really a family Christmas kinda girl all too crazy for me. I like quiet time.

You guyz can also wrap your presents in the brown kraft paper they sell to send packages thru the mail. They sell it pretty much anywhere you can get packing supplies and typically cheap. That will give you guyz some variety in your wrapping papers. lol

We have gifts under the tree already. The buns keep checkin them out but not messing with them. I put some small figurines and some small ceramic gift boxes as decorations and that is what they play with! lol Goofy bunnies.

They think the tree is something to hide under since the lowest branches are pretty low.

Alright then Cassi (I’m almost convinced you’re ok with it)^. Guess if you’ve been thru many crazy family Christmas’ then a quiet one would have it’s appeal.  I will make special effort to visit BB on the 25th (like that’d be hard!) to say Hello. (That is provided you actually check in at BB too -lol)

Our buns are getting a cottontail cottage for xmas. I had to stretch the budget a bit to buy it but hey it’s xmas LOL.

Aww Cassi, You’re more than welcome to come join us for xmas hun, would be nice to have another aussie here among the canuks (I’m australian also, just live in this icehole) I’m sure your “kids” will love the phonebook pressie.

I’d hate to imagine the mess if we had a xmas tree in with our buns, Luna for sure would be the one to “test” it’s destructability. I swear she can destroy stuff just by looking at it.

ssshhhhh……..I’m going Christmas shopping at the sanctuary Open House Sunday! Most of the money has to go for a big box of hay, but I’ll get each their own toy too. I go kinda nuts whenever I go into the room with all the bunny goodies and wind up having to brown bag it for a couple of weeks, but they know they’re worth it….lol

Anyone else in the Dallas area going? I’ve met Sarita several times, keep hoping to run into Moobunny one of these days, too!

Beka it’s lucky our buns can’t do the calander thing; We wouldn’t be so lucky if we had Maryann-she knows exacty how many ‘sleeps’ are left until christmas morning!

Chucks getting a new stuffed animal-he loves them sooo much, I’m so glad I thought to get hm one, especially the lion-he loves to sleep on it and groom it.

Rupert and Kahlua are definitely on the naughty list so I’m not sure what they’ll get for christmas yet …
