I was just wondering if a certain age is too old, and what age is too young…..

Usually the youngest age to spay is 4-6 months I believe; gives the uterus time to develop fully I think.
And too old…after six? I know Babybunsmom can’t spay her lop because she’s too old for it.

Ideally you’d want to spay before a year. And as young as five months. But I’d say somewhere in between, like eight months would be best

It’s best to wait at least 6 months for the bones to develop and the uterus to develop. Too old – I think that would fully depend on the health of the rabbit and the competency of the vet.

Coco was just spayed – at about 2 and a half years.

We adopted her in May, and her previous people were neglectful.

She had a tough recovery ( took about a week) but she is super happy now!
