Boy I bet Mocha was surprised! I’ve seen the level of passive/domination change in all my bunnies combinations over the last 4 years, usually it was just temporary uprising, maybe Lulu was just trying to make a point 😉
My strangest one was Hershey. We took Simba dating and he seemed best with little Hershey, a senior who’d lost her mate a short time earlier. Sarita and the other volunteers said she had been very passive in her bond and she behaved the same way with Simba that day so we thought it would be a good match.
He humped her all the way home. I gave them free run of my bedroom so I could keep an eye on them, Simba had been an only rabbit all his life and he seemed to enjoy the thought of his own ‘harem’.
They were out of the carrier maybe a minute, he humped, she turned and chased his butt around the room until he hid in the carrier and she stretched across the opening just daring him to poke a whisker out of there. It was several hours before she allowed him out but he knew who was boss. She taught him how to be a rabbit and he adored her, but she could be across the room and give him a dirty look and he’d quickly cower into YesDear…lol
Since she had always been so passive, everyone thinks she just decided she was going to wear the pants in this new relationship. 😉
