Hello! I’m currently in the middle of a marathon bond. My question is what happens once they are bonded? How do I let them out to play? I want them to be able to go wherever they want in the house as they are always happier when they can play whenever they want.

My male bun, Nova, was our first bunny and he had free roam of the house pretty much but mostly the living room. Hazel had free roam of our bedroom. So once they are bonded do I just.. open their cage and let them roam? I dont really see a way with how our apartment is set up where I can limit their area of play. Thanks.

Once bonded they live together 24/7, but you will probable want to expand their space slowly. Sometimes new bonds can be upset if the territory increases too quickly, especially if it’s not neutral. So maybe you could start with them in the living room (or whatever room their cage is in) and see how they do. If they start chasing or anything, you might need to reduce the space a little until they calm down again(an x-pen works well for this). If that goes well, after a couple days you can let them into the rest of the house.
