What does this mean?

So, I was just holding Lily for a while. I was scratching her and snuggling her and then she got down, just back in my lap and started pulling at my sweatshirt with her teeth and digging at me. I dont’ know what that means. I don’t know if she wanted  more attention for if she was saying “why do you always have to touch me! Yuck!” haha. Then she jumped on my shoulder and jumped on the bed. Another thing she’s been doing today is rubbing her chin on things. When she was outside she kept rubbing her chin on little grass pieces popping up in the snow and I just gave her some celery and she rubbed her chin on that do. I have a goofy bunny. I just keep laughing. I don’t know if she being silly or if she tellng me she’s mad at me. haha. Help.

The rubbing her chin on things is claiming them for her own, they have scent glands under their chin.

 

The digging/biting, not sure but mine do that sometimes and I usually assume they want to get down but I am actually not sure lol.  Mine usually do it right before jumping up and away too though…which is why I assume they want to get down.

the digging and pulling at your shirt could be I want more attention or just play.
Some buns dig and pull and ‘rearrange’ blankets and shirts for fun.

rubbing her chin is totally normal as well.  Its plainly called chinning lol
Buns have scent glands under their chin and thei chin things to mark it as theirs.
So anythnig in your house that is under like 2 feet will soon become property of your bun lol including you

Yes, I really believe they are just playing. If they want to draw blood or escape they can easily do that

the digging

Cotton does that.  I would be lying on the couch and here comes cotton to dig smooth and nibble my shirts. HE would jump off and repeat over n over for a while.    I think he was just enjoying himself. He doesn’t do that as much since Ruby came to be with him.

 when I lie on the floor with him he will come and dig on me then nibble and smooth my shirt back out. It is so funny. Maybe that is his way of grooming me ?  I dont’ know for sure but playing sounds about right.

Now when I pick him up and hold him he will dig at me too. IN that context it means hey I dont’ like this put me down.  Also when I take him outside and put him down he will jump back in my arms and dig at me.  Now that means how dare you put me down.

Gosh seems like everytime I post something it starts with  …..Cotton does … or Cotton this or Cotton that hehe.

Hey maybe Cotton is just the all around bun who does everything other buns do except keep us up at nite.

Hahaha, my old roommate had this ratty packers sweatshirt she would wear all the time, and she has GIANT boobs. Felony LOVED to dig at her chest when she was wearing that ratty old sweatshirt.
