What water bottles do you use for your buns? I have a crock dish and a water bottle just incase (i worry alot lol) and the water bottle is just one of those bog standard ones and it is leaking all over the place. Does anyone know either how to fix it or what i can get instead? Also do u bother with a hay rack or do u just bung it in there?

        Thanks guys!

I just use a crock for Cadbury’s water, she isn’t thrilled with the bottles. She was terrified of her hay rack when I first got it, so I just put handfuls of hay in the corner of her litter boxes, and she’s happy. Sometimes she will drag her hay all over her pen. I also will put some hay in her nesting box.

I had a terrible time with leaky water bottles. I think I tried every brand. They all dripped. I have one on hand for a new bun just in case, but Spockie preferred his water dish ALOT. I found these metal dishes shaped like a half moon with hooks on the flat side that hang off the side of the cage. He LOVED it. I’d hear him drinking for long times. No mess.

I like these water crocks that attach to the side of the cage and simply with a twist, come off the mounting bracket that attaches to the side of the cage for easy cleaning: http://www.petsmart.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2752724

i use a water bottle, i haven’t had any issues with it.  i got a hay ball that attaches to the cage, but she could never figure it out and she does not eat enough hay as it is, so i popped off one half of the color part and now i fill it and lay it on the floor next tot he litterbox.  she likes to roll it around the cage.

I use a crock for water because all the bottles I have leak water, I am worried it will run dry and I am not home. Hay I brought an under bed box because they are nice and big for all my rabbits.

I use a crock for our rabbits also. Sometimes Luna likes to put her toys in the dish and turn the water various colours from the vegetable dye used in the chewies.

K & D you are most welcome! They make them in smaller sizes too for smaller animals. I do hope you can find them! If not, let me know and we could work something out.
