        Hi all!

First time posting. What breed do you guys thinks she is? When I adopted her, I was told she was a satin rabbit but her vet thinks she’s a thrianta. I looked at the pics of thrianta rabbits and the ears aren’t the same, and she’s much bigger (8-9lbs). I think she looks more like a Rex and she has super silky fur. Any ideas?

She could definitely be a mix! Her fur color is gorgeous regardless 😀 I am not good at breed identification outside whether your rabbit looks like mine…. I can confirm you have neither a netherland dwarf nor an American Sable, haha.

Silky fur is always so lovely, and paired with that color would make it hard for me not to want to snuggle her aggressively!

Her fur does not look like a rex in the photo, it looks most like a satin if you ask me (based on how shiny her fur is and it being silky)! Satins can be lots of different colors, it has more to do with the physical structure of the hairs.

I had a satin before, he was soooo beautiful:

Thanks for the replies! I was told she was a satin when I got her, I don’t know why her vet thought she wasn’t. Her fur looks like it’s literally glowing when she’s laying in a sunny spot, if only she liked being cuddled 😞

your bunny looks like the brown version of mine!
